My boys love this series. It is surprisingly well written and I find myself reading after my boys have fallen asleep. :)These books follow the adventures / misadventures of Zack Zombie, a Minecraft zombie and his mob friends. He is a goofy but good kid with an intact family and lots of funny adventures. Zack doesn't always make the right choices but he learns from his experiences and takes responsibility for his actions. His little schemes always go wrong but he ends up making the right choices in the end. The books in this series are funny and short. My boys 5 and 9 love them. Even my older two will sometimes sit in and listen to them. Must have book series!
My 8 year old daughter loves this series and I can't recommend them enough! She reads and reads and reads!! The book also addresses issues such as bullying etc so there is a message in them.If you are looking for something that will foster their love for reading, this may be a good option! My daughter loves mind-craft so this as been a natural fit for us.We bought kindle version
Love! Love! Love theses books for my 8 year old. He has always struggled with reading and hasn't had the interest in any books before. My son is 8 and has been reading these books since he was 7. He loves them! It’s the only way I can get him interested in reading. It sometimes feels like as soon as one comes in the mail, he’s begging me to order the next one!
My son likens reading to corporal punishment, so I am always on the lookout for fun books that pique his interest in reading. As a Minecraft "zombie" himself, I just knew my sweet baby boy would relate to the trials and tribulations of the titular Zombie in this series. My adorable and brilliant cuddlebug devoured all of the presently-available installments and we are both now anxiously awaiting the next. (Seriously. Can't you just churn these out in groups of four or something, Mr. Zack Zombie?)
My 6 year old son is a huge Minecraft fan and he's been reading this series of books all year. He is now on book 9 and he is quite sad that he only has 2 more left.This is a great book series. Nothing inappropriate in the text. I have caught him laughing out loud while reading these books.I would definitely recommend them for any Minecraft fan.
My son loves these books. They're a bit slim for the price but he loves them and talks about Minecraft and the books quite a bit.
Took my 7 year old grandson on a 7 hour car trip. He had his video games, art supplies, & brand new minecraft book. Reading is not his favorite thing to do but chose to read his book first thing. He loved it, could hear him laughing in the back seat. As a rising 3rd grader it was an easy read,and he finished it pretty quickly but he would pick it up again & read a few pages all through the weeks vacation. He wants more books to read, music to this grandma's ears.
