Great book!! As a novice, reading this book revealed so many more different angles to specific situations than I had ever considered. I'm not what you'd call an avid reader, but this read more like a conversation, explaining things to where I really understood and could visualize the situation. I wanted to read something that gave me more knowledge and offered practical, Useable advice on surveillance... and this book did BOTH!! I don't usually write reviews, but I'm happy to recommend this book to all of us trying to learn as much as we can so that we're prepared for the field. Also a great read for those interested in counter-surveillance as it gives you new considerations on what to look for in trying to spot other agents.
I have had the opportunity over the last 40+ years to manage as well as conduct surveillances while with the FBI and in the private sector. It is rather easy to separate those who know what they are doing from those who do not know the intricacies of surveillance. I have been providing investigative services, including surveillances for the past 26 years through Sutton Associates. Ed Cruz is the only individual I will use to manage any surveillance assignments I receive; he is provisional, honest and an accomplished.
